50th Birthday

The secret Strawberry and Raspberry Cream Cake made by Eliza.  Renfred made 3 trips to buy the ingredients needed.  Thank you for your love, my dear children.
 The three handsome guys ;)
 The "evergreen" that night.
Serious decision-making moment where you have a consultant helping you to choose your dinner. "Why you don't trust me ah, you rather trust the menu marked with the hat" ;)
Our efficient waiter Chris!
Renfred loves good food.  Look at his smile :)
A wide selection of fine cuisine from appetizer to dessert.
Haddock
 Japanese Black Pork
My dear daughter, Eliza who was the "mastermind" behind this event.  Thank you dear :)
This was a real surprise as I did not expect Eliza to be so gungho to bake a cake from Martha Stewart's recipe site.  Well done dear.  Am so proud of you and kor :)
Thank GOD for a loving husband and children :)
A happy mom cutting her birthday cake made with love by her children :)
More desserts; Molten Lava Cake with Ice Cream, Tiramisu with Berries and Sorbet, etc :)
Hah bundung dinosaur! Keng Mun : "talking about me is it!"
And the laughter just goes on and on and on....
Ps Alfred "I better take a walk.."
Eld Matt, laugh till neck ache! Many had stomach aches from the laughter!
President of Wefc Sports Thinking Club, inspired by Garfield "you can loose weight simply by sitting and thinking about it." Genius !

A short serious spell before the members of the Thinking Club broke into laughter again.
Notice Ps Alfred was really thinking hard but don't know about what ;)
The ladies simply adore their husbands and were amused by them :)
Eld Matt sharing his experience.  After that Peter requested Keng Mun, the "most senior" amongst us to pray for Irene.
Group photo of the beautiful people at the party.  Smile, you're on candid camera :)
Goodbye everyone.  It has been a fantastic evening of thanksgiving to GOD for His faithfulness, grace and bountiful blessings.  A night of excellent food and fellowship.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!

Four beautiful and thoughtful gifts were received with a thankful heart :)  These stones are especially imported from USA to make this lovely necklace for me :)  So sweet.
You might have noticed that I was wearing it on that night.
Thank you Rebecca and Keng Mun :)
This is so cute.  Love it.  To me, it confirms my return to the
Worship Ministry after 3 months' of break.
Thank you Dolly and Eld Matt :)
Good colour taste.  Beautiful wallet.
How you know it's about time for me to change my wallet ? ;)
Thank you Yee Pin and Ps Alfred :)
Got gifts and got money :)  Accidentally dropped my notebook on 10th July and the screen got broken.  This comes in handy to chip in for the repair.
Thank you SuLin and Eugene :)
Made these bookmarks with the theme song that night and my favourite Psalm for my friends who made time to celebrate GOD's goodness on me and my family these 50 years.
Last but not least, I made these Heart-shaped Raspberry Chocolate Brownies as a small token of my thanks :)

Below are pictures taken on my actual day, 12 July.  Peter, Eliza and myself (Renfred had to work but he will join us for a family dinner tonight) visited the Garden Bay this morning.  We did not go to the places where we had to pay entrance fees but just walked around the Garden, just to have a feel of it.
We had lunch at Bakerzin at Vivo and later bought a Cherry with Rum Chocolate Cake from Awfully Chocolate for the family (another cake blowing, which means I will be 50+50 = a century old? ';)
This cute card was given by my dear husband.  Thank you Pete, for the overwhelming celebration. Love you :)
Our long-time Christian brother and friend, Ser Khiam, came all the way from his work place last night to our home to pass me this Compact Folding Bookstand for me to use when I am baking :)
My dear daughter, Eliza, drew me this lovely card and the one and only Cupcake tote bag - you cna never find one another one in this world.  Simply love it.  I started using it today.  Thank you once again dear Eliza :)
