I was planning to make Hot Cross Buns for the month of April. Then A gave me the recipe last week. I immediately tried it out for my family and they love it.

Today is my second attempt at this recipe. What you see is two recipes i.e. I doubled the portion. Each recipe yields about 16 small pieces. Since the group of people I plan to bless with these Hot Cross Buns have other food prepared for them, I decided to give some to my husband's Greek teacher and another lot to my son's CG members who will be coming over to our home for CG meeting later.

I made some modification to the recipe (don't know why, but I enjoy trying out different variations, just can't stick to the original :)) I added cranberries and
raisins soaked in orange juice instead of candid fruits.

Thank GOD so far the dough turned out okay and it is quite easy to manage. Will be making more of these in future :)
