Loh Mission Fund Account

On 27 May 2010 my husband and I attended two church services at CEFC and WEFC.  Interestingly both preachers touched on "crossroads" and I was thinking to myself, "I am somewhat on a crossroad where I am waiting on the LORD to see in which area should I serve Him in and when.

At the end of the second service I told the LORD that if He provides the finance, I will go for short-term mission trips to serve Him after my daughter leaves for her studies overseas.  Would you believe it that the LORD answered my request on that same Sunday!  Yes, a part-time job offered came that evening.  The school wanted me to start work the next day for 2 weeks!  Wow!  Don't play, play.  GOD takes us at what our word.  He provided even thought I do not know where He wants me to go.

So I accepted the job offer and started work the next day.  But the work scope was a bit challenging for me as it involves carrying and moving of sports equipment for 5 year olds.  I had to assist the teacher in the Perpetual Motor Skills class and each day we had 10 classes of 20 minutes each, bending up and down, leaning forward and backward, preparing and keeping the stuff, cleaning up, etc.  Because I have not been exercising my muscles, they reacted and for the next few days I was moving in slow motion and in pain.  But I told the LORD that I wanted to be a good testimony for Him and to persevere in this job He has given me, thus He gave me the strength and endurance to complete my assignment.  Thank GOD I had fun looking at how the children played and also had a good short working relationship with the teacher in-charge :)

Well, the above is the testimony of GOD's provision and how serious He takes you at your word.  When I receive my first pay check after many years of staying at home, I will return to the LORD one tenth as tithe and the rest will go into the Loh's Mission Fund for future mission trips for Him :)
